About

Tucked into the wooded hills above Callander, Bracklinn Falls is a magical spot where the Keltie Water tumbles dramatically through a deep gorge. A short, family-friendly walk leads through pine-scented woodland to the impressive footbridge, offering the best vantage point over the foaming cascade. The falls are especially striking after rainfall, when the water surges through the rocky chasm with power and energy. In contrast, on calmer days the gorge has a peaceful, almost enchanted atmosphere, with moss-covered rocks and dappled light filtering through the trees. From the bridge, walkers can extend the outing into a scenic circular route across open moorland, with fine views back over Callander and towards the surrounding Trossachs hills.
